THE COLONNADE - ABUSIVE CLAUSE

Tenants!
Be extra careful when signing their Tenancy Agreement. Unless you manage to get the clause amended, Pontiac Land will require you at the end of the lease to repaint all walls and ceilings as well as re-polish all wooden and marble floors, even if the unit is in pristine condition. This is a very uncommon and abusive clause in Singapore where usually tenants are only required to patch holes and repair floors subject to fair wear and tear.
Furthermore, Pontiac Land will exercise pressure so you engage for these works their recommended contractors which go at a price double of what you can find directly.
