How time flies when you're having fun!
The Tropic Gardens was a fantastic home away from home for the last few years. The location into town and the CBD was a breeze via the expressway and the East Coast Hawker Center was a short and windy walk away via the underpass.
I loved that it was a small development and was blissfully quiet in the evenings (if not the entire day). We stayed in one of the units toward the middle of the condo and we had a view that overlooked the pool.
Compared to some of the other rentals that we saw in the area, the size of the unit we had was spacious and airy - truly tropical living!
The Tropic Gardens will always have a very special place in my heart!

Access to the city is zippy (We used to go to the CBD via the Bedok South entrance and return via the Bayshore exit).
The large square rooms and high ceilings were a real refreshing joy compared to some of the smaller, newer developments we've stayed.
The facilities are good/standard but access to east coast park was very nearby and we enjoyed evening walks there.
The nearest groceries were the Cold Storages at Eastwood and Siglap.
The winning factor for us was the combination of space and quiet. The development is very peaceful and the small number of owners kept things nice and simple for us.
We will miss this place and Singapore very much.
