THE FORESTA @ MOUNT FABER

We are residents of The Foresta@mount Faber Block 102, #03-11.
There are a few quality problems of our condo, and the management office fixed our bedroom floor and leaking windows, but did not help us to fix the kitchen wall.
We found a few contractors come down to see, and they all said this is design problem. This design violates the current safety regulations. Even do back the same one, the same problem will happen again.

The minimum hob to wall distance at least 100mm, and minimum hob to hood ventilation distances is 650mm.

But our hob to wall distance is less than 10mm, and hob to hood distance is also only about 580mm !!!
This distance is so close that the flame burns directly on the wall, and it is hardly able to insert an aluminium protector between the pot and wall.
Even we always put the aluminium protector, direct heat is still too close to the wall, and unavoidable.
What's worse, the wall is made of plastics, and it does not stand the high heat, and turned yellow through time!
We did not want to complain first, but it cracked this year, other contractors can not fix this problem, unless redesign and redo the kitchen again.

I have a video showing flame burning directly on the wall.

Other contractors all said this is a serious design problem, the distance is so close that the flame burns directly on the wall, even we are willing to pay more to replace the wall to better materials, but there is no such material they can guarantee to stand such high heat over time, unless redesign the kitchen and redo the whole thing to increase the distance, which will cost a few thousand dollars.

To note, this design is full of safety risks, and life threatening to residents. Not only the flame burns directly on the wall, but also the hood to hob distance is way below current safety recommendations, if leave the stove on for long time, it could burn the wooden cabinets overhead, and cause fire concern to the whole building.

So far haven't solve the problem yet.
