Maplewoods is a distinct landmark tucked along Bukit Timah Road. It is a tropical paradise of its own with a great amount of foliage. The development is self-contained with is a convenience shop, restaurant and dry cleaning store. A very family friendly development with a high percentage of expats.
MRT is right at the doorstep with two large supermarkets, one of them open 24 hours just across the road
Maplewoods is very green with lots of mature trees and plants and a large swimming pool looking very much like a tropical resort.
It has its own min-mart and a little cafe.

Useless management and lazy staff. Renovations going on all the time which take months by slow contractors. Gym is still being renovated was meant to take 9 weeks and now in month 8. Whole pool is now being re tiled and the workers just sit around so will be months. Place is tired and dirty outside.

Mouldy smell in most units as the place is very old already. Extremely stressful to drive to and fro work during peak hours. MGS traffic queue is a nightmare.
People can just walk in and out of condo without security checking. Standards have dropped from years ago. Mosquito and big balack ants are a constant menace to residents. Fumigation 3 times a week doesn't seem to help much. Pretty stuffy all year round due to low rise. Always worry about the next flash flood hitting the car park. Priced like A district 21 condo that is priced like a District 9, 10, 11.
